SCMTR 2018 Update: CBIC Issues New Customs Notification for Sea Cargo Manifest & Transshipment
CBIC has issued Notification No. 73/2026-Customs (N.T.) dated 1 September 2026, further amending the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transshipment Regulations (SCMTR), 2018. The amendment extends the relevant transitional provision to 31 October 2026 amid the phased implementation of SCMTR across Indian ports.
